Launched in December 2012, Amber Blue is a family owned natural and organic luxury skincare line. Each product is 100% natural and organic, handcrafted, and made in small batches — thus I kept the tagline as honest as the product: “pure and simple.”
The visual identity calls to mind a past era — one when apothecary shops still dotted New York streets, and when consumers didn’t worry about what went into their skincare products. Amber Blue is family-owned and operated, so we found it important to call attention to that. I used graphics from the founders’ own family crest, which coincidentally were floral in nature.
